Face and neck

When planning face and neck lifts and corrections, Tiia Pihlamaa assesses skin quality along with the amount of fat tissue, the quality of the supporting tissues, facial proportions, and natural movement.

Overview

A considered, individual plan

Age-related changes appear differently in every person. A plan for the lower face, jawline, and neck is based on anatomy, skin quality and the amount of fat beneath the skin, previous treatments, and your own wishes. These factors also set certain limits on what can be achieved. The aim is always a clear yet natural change that is true to you.

Procedures and assessment

What the category may include

Facelift

The procedure lifts the deeper facial tissues, the SMAS layer, and removes excess skin when needed.

Neck surgery

The skin, fat, and deeper structures of the neck play a major part in the shape of the jawline. These layers can be shaped by removing fat or by lifting the deeper layers.

Facial fat transfer

Your own fat can be used to correct the shape and fullness of the face, either combined with a lift or as a procedure on its own.

The aim is not to change your own features, but to create a plan that suits you and naturally corrects the shape of your face. The result is always individual and true to you.
