In surgery it is released, and cartilage grafts are used to restore the upper part to its normal shape. Surgical wishes and their outcomes are always individual. In these photographs the scars may still be maturing, and once a few more months have passed since surgery, they will be lighter and less noticeable.

More photographs of treatment results can be viewed at the plastic surgery consultation. Most patients kindly give their consent for their photographs to be shown to people who have the same problem and are considering the same treatment as they did.
